Welcome to the Samaritan House of Orangeburg website. The Samaritan House is a non-profit social service organization assisting homeless community members. The Samaritan House offers shelter for individuals and families, hot meals, career development, job placement, health care, case management services and substance abuse recovery support.

We believe that all people deserve the basic necessities of life, and that the community in which we live is called to serve this purpose. All of the programs and services are free of charge and designed to help program participants find permanent solutions to homelessness. The work of the Samaritan House is carried out through the combined efforts of a skilled professional staff, community collaborations, volunteers and many generous supporters.

The Samaritan House is associated with the United Way and the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce.
